Product Management – VP / Director / Manager (Virtual)

JamLoop is an OTT demand-side platform that makes it easy for traditional TV advertisers to reach cord-cutting digital audiences who are watching television content via streaming apps.

We are looking for an experienced product manager who is passionate about programmatic TV & premium video advertising to help JamLoop further evolve its highly innovative programmatic OTT/CTV buying platform. This is a high-visibility role tasked with managing and executing our strategic roadmap for advanced digital TV advertising products.

This opportunity requires excellent product management skills, creative problem solving, clear written and verbal communication and process optimization. The ideal candidate has knowledge of the OTT/CTV, Advanced TV and programmatic ad tech space. Depending on experience level, this role may include being part of the Executive Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive the full digital product lifecycle, from ideation and business requirements development to product spec development, rollout, and enhancement.
  • Write narratives, user journeys, and workflows for new upcoming features.
  • Author product requirements and user stories.
  • Lead product-driven Scrum meetings
  • Lead the evaluation and refinement of the existing technology stack and design the desired future-state product set.
  • Identify and engage with best-in-class technology partners to help build and deploy new product solutions where needed.
  • Proactively engage stakeholders when gathering requirements and requirement sign-off.
  • Speak the language of the engineering, design, data science and sales to coordinate complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Handle troubleshooting issues and support ad-hoc feature requests, proactively prioritize the product backlog using shared project management software.
  • Ensure documentation of product requirements & client facing materials are current.
  • Manage the release schedule of new product releases, include QA prior to release.

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant product management or related experience at a start-up, media or ad tech firm.
  • Solid technical understanding of advertising technologies including SSPs/DSPs, ad mediation, ad servers, RTB, and audience targeting; familiarity with TV/OTT/CTV technology strongly preferred;
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to work closely with Design & Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • MBA or advanced quantitative/technical degree preferred but not required.

AWS Operations Engineer (Remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize, Monitor and Maintain existing AWS infrastructure
  • Help the Development and Ad Operations teams with troubleshooting
  • Work alongside the Development Team on new initiatives

 

Qualifications:

  • AWS Operations Experience
  • Experience with high QPS, multi-region architectures
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a remote team
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with AWS DevOps (Codepipeline etc.) or desire to learn
  • Python Scripting
  • Ad-tech experience
  • Data processing technologies (e.g. AWS Glue, redshift, redis)

Data Engineer (Remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Technical lead for data engineering at JamLoop, reporting to the VP Engineering
  • Participate in, or take lead on, the data architecture for JamLoop’s DSP
  • Data Engineering related to the DSP; bid-optimization, audience targeting and data analytics
  • Help the Ad Operations team with troubleshooting
  • Work alongside the Development Team on new initiatives

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics
  • Experience with ETL and Data Processing Technologies
  • Python Scripting
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a remote team
  • Strong analytical, mathematics, communication, and creative problem solving skills

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with AWS and AWS Glue
  • Ad-tech experience
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar technology stacks
  • Data processing technologies: e.g. SQL, Redshift, Hadoop/NoSQL, Streaming (Kafka)
  • Machine Learning/Optimization/Statistical modeling experience

Golang Developer (Remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Technical lead for development of JamLoop’s RTB bidder stack.
  • Reports to the VP of Engineering.
  • Development of new features as JamLoop’s offering expands.
  • Improvements to existing features such as media and bidding optimization.
  • Responsible for ongoing performance improvements and scalability.
  • Help the Ad Operations team with troubleshooting.
  • Work alongside the Front End and Data Engineering Teams on new initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
  • Experience developing scalable solutions in Golang.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a remote team.
  • Strong analytical, mathematics, communication, and creative problem solving skills

  • AWS Devops Experience
  • Experience with RTB or similar protocols

  • Help the Ad Operations team with troubleshooting.
  • Work alongside the RTB and Data Engineering Teams on new initiatives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics.
  • Experience developing applications in Django with DRF.
  • Experience developing front end applications in Vue.js or similar technologies.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a remote team.
  • Strong analytical, mathematics, communication, and creative problem solving skills.

  • AWS Devops Experience
  • Experience with Ad Tech in general or RTB specifically.
